Everybody Shoot Justin Bieber

A funny remashup <= new word. A funny remashup of Justin Bieber's death on CSI. Bring the rain.

Inception and Nested Stories

At first this video was kind of annoying and dumb. But half way through I was like this is just like "______ ___" or "________ ___" or most recently "___ _________ ____". If you know Seth McFarlane you will know what I'm talking about. Anyways, check it out!

Octopuses and Space Shuttles

Not related at all, it's just baseball season, so i'm getting lazy. Enjoy!

The End of Angry Birds (Tiny Wings)

The sun is setting on Angry Birds. A new cute bird game has risen and it's called "Tiny Wings". In the game, you control a little bird and you attempt to fly from island to island before night time comes (see what I did there?). In ten days it has gained 4.5 star rating from over 10k voters. Quite addictive. Now for only .99¢ you can play Andreas Illiger's Angry Bird killer!

Dollar Messages

Dan Tague has put together some funny, yet kind of creepy pictures of dollars he took. By folding dollars together he was able to make cool hidden messages.

Freaks and Geeks Video

I love Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino. Here are the new visuals for Childish Gambino's single "Freaks and Geeks".

Anti-Joke Chicken

Speaking of Death Metal Roosters... here is a classic "Anti-Joke Chicken". I love this collection. At first it may take a few to understand, but they grow on ya.

I Love Sarah Jane

I sometimes wonder what life would be like in a zombie apocalypse. Perhaps it would be an adventure running around slaying zombies. This video directed by Spencer Susser made me question my twisted fantasy a bit. Personal and graphic, enjoy!

Grey's Anatomy for Men

Everyone knows Grey's Anatomy, but most men don't know Gray's Anatomy. Here is a short 3 minute long explanation in simple terms for all those guys out there who are forced to watch with their significant other.

Dream Journal: Entry 2

Well it started off with me being inside some sort of mario wannabe game. Very strange. Everything was 2-D. So I was kind of watching myself be Mario. But I wasn't playing a videogame, I was actually Mario.

At one point I got to this final stage area. And I hit this switch and I became Bowser and this other enemy showed up. It was that big thing that throws the hammers. Hammer Bros.

But when I'm trying to fight, I can't jump over this huge gap that appears between us. So I tried just shooting my fire breath thing, but to no avail. So eventually I just jumped in the hole. Then suddenly it was like I woke up, but I was still dreaming.

(Inception)

Then I was in this old house. Everything was dark and cobwebby. I realized I was with someone else. To my surprise it was my friend Jackson.

We were both wearing black robes. Jackson was freaking out because he couldn't find something. So we began looking around this old house, that reminded me of 12 Grimmauld place.

So we were looking franticly, until we came upon a piano. And on the piano we rummaged around. Jackson was like "He'll be so mad that I lost the ring of power!" So I guess I was reminded of my last dream. Anyways, I found a couple rings on the piano. I took one that was way too big and put it on my thumb.
(I distinctly remember the ring having a black rock)

Eventually Jackson and I gave up. Suddenly we were transported in front of Voldemort... He was surrounded by flames. He was also furious at Jackson (who was now Harry Potter)

I'm not sure what happened to Jackson/Harry but suddenly Voldemort transported me out of the fiery area and we were in a grocery store on a bright sunny say.

But then the perspective changed. I was with my parents and they were waiting in our black volvo station wagon outside the grocery store... The weather had become cloudy (I don't know how I knew it was sunny to begin with).

Soon Voldy and I appeared carrying bags of groceries. He gave me a polite smile and pointed to where my parents were. I watched myself approach the car. When I got in, I was me again! Something was up, my dad was sitting on the right side (but my dad always drives)!

(I guess we were in the UK)

I took this to be true and asked my father where we were headed next. He said we were looking at an open house. So we drove through some beautiful country scenery.

Soon we pulled up in front of a couple big white houses! Both were for sale. I read the signs, but now I can't remember the names of the realtors. I asked how much they were and my mom told me they were both $12,000 when converted!

The two weren't this open. They were situated kind of closely, and there was a big hedge thing we had to walk past. Anyhoo, we walked inside and I was asking my mom how come we just didn't buy these houses as an investment. But she informed me the actual cost to buy them and live here would be like a million dollars. And I got confused. I remember the realtor being somewhat attractive...

(Maybe not that attractive)

Anyways, as I used to do when I was a kid, I got bored of meandering about the house with my parents. So I sat down on a window bench thing, and looked out at a school.

(Except it was much smaller)

Then two british girls sat down. I assumed they still lived in the house. The sat down a couple feet from me on the very small window bench thing. One of them whispered to the other that I had a large zit, and that I was trying to hide it with my hand.
(I was sitting kind of like this)

Offended, I moved my hand. The other girl whispered, "yeh it is huge". The I got kind of annoyed. I told them I could hear them. Then they started talking about how I was insane, and I thought I knew Voldemort. I started calling for my mom to disprove the nay sayers, but I was awoken  by the sound of the radio. School has been cancelled I could hear it saying

And that's how I awoke on this lovely snow-day.

Toddler Taekwondo

Cutest thing of all time. I mean, they play the Ponyo theme song during a timeout... At the end the camerawork gets a little shaky, but probably cause the audience would overload on cuteness.

Amazing Zelda Painting

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of one of arguably one of the best video game franchises in all of time, Ag+Pixiv has created one of the most incredible digital paintings of all time. North Korean Life

You probably know that North Koreans live a very secretive lifestyle. I'm not stereotyping, the whole country lives in a convoluted web of lies and propaganda. Check out this rare look into the lives of some North Korean film students!

Apparently I'm rather similar to Phillip Wang's character Rick... But here is a cute video explaining why Rick thinks girlfriends are useful! Too true Rick... too true.

Alex Tanney Football Trick Shots

Another trick shot video... but hey, it's the off-season so I don't blame them. Check out Monmouth's quarterback Alex Tanney showing off some range. Dude, I can't understand what he is saying half the time...

Black Widow Gone Wild

Ok Patrick Boivin, just because you made one of the best stop-motion toy action figure videos of all-time, does not mean you can exaggerate and say "gone wild". God how I wish that really existed.

Chicago is Windy

I used to fantasize about this back in Chicago... Damn.

Star Trek + Angry Birds

I've done enough posts about Angry Birds, but maybe you'll enjoy yet another. I LOVE Ashley Judd btw. I just can't believe this was a real episode of Star Trek...

A Day Made of Glass

This is the coolest concept video I have ever seen. Please make the future now. I want to wake up and have all these things exist. It's kind of like if evert flat surface in your house could be used as an interconnected touchscreen. My favorite part is when the racist bus stop turns to Japanese for the Asian woman. Jk, that's respect. Made by Corning.

Solowheel

So I will admit, I used to think Segways had no purpose in this world. I was gravely mistaken. I drove one (sort of) this weekend and it was dope. But this... this surely can have no place in society....

Mitoza Your Own Adveture

I suppose the name has something to do with mitosis, but I could be wrong. And most likely am. But check out this crazy abstract choose your own adventure game! Mitoza

Vanessa Hudgens

NSFWomen. Oh Vanessa, how far you've come since High School Musical, where you played a lonely math wiz.

All of the Lights Music Video

Kanye West

Kid Cudi

And Rihanna :)

Hype Williams just released a somewhat unorthodox music video for Kanye's song "All of the Lights". Don't let the melancholy beginning fool you, this video is crazy good. And if you just missed it, Rihanna and Kanye just had an amazing performance during the all-star game.

Minor problem. This Japanese character does not actually sound like "to" it sounds like "toe".

So for example, this says "Kahnee eh wesootoe"

Basketball Awesomeness (Chuck and Mamba)

First is the new song by Charles Barkley "I May Be Wrong"! You might have heard parts of the song in their ad, but T-Mobile has released a video for the whole thing. Love it.

Tmobile "Charles Barkley/I May Be Wrong" from Süperfad on Vimeo.

Second is the extended version of Robert Rodriguez's video "The Black Mamba". Essentially this is a star studded ad for Kobe's latest kicks. But hey, check out Kanye West!

Mario Kart Again!

Freddie Wong normally makes intense amateur shoot em ups. But he brings something a little different this time. Check out this short Mario Kart video. The animation is seamless and I love all the items.

Cat Bowling

Poor cats, they can't help chasing lasers...

Wavegarden (Growing Waves)

This looks like, literally, the best way to learn how to surf. I can't for the life of me figure out how it's done, but these people have successfuly turned what looks like a pond/small river into a wave machine. God that looks fun.

The Next Green Energy

If not the most powerful, it's the cutest way to get energy in the future.

Samurai vs. Shadow

When  I was in Japan the high school put on a cool shadow play. Normally shadow puppet stuff is kind of slow and stiff, but this is exactly the opposite. It gets so epic. I'm... impressed.

Dream Journal: Entry 1

(This will not be routine)

(play whilest reading)

I found myself walking across rocky terrain. It was really hot and I could see lava in the distance. Turns out, I was actually Samwise Gamgee from Lord of the Rings.

I think this was because I watched 50 First Dates the night before. Anyways, so I was Sam, but I was me. If you get what I am saying? So the dream went third person for a little bit, and I saw myself and Frodo wearing our funny Orc outfits.

(two on the right)
And you might have figured it out by now, but we were traveling in Mordor now. I recall my suit of armor being very very hot.

Suddenly the Eye of Sauron averted its gaze, and loud horns were blasting everywhere. My dream went to a cinematic shot of thousands of orcs marching through blue-black canyons. For some reason, some of the orcs were doing this piggy back thing. Instead of walking normally they were riding on the backs of other orcs.

(the piggy backs looked like this exercise I had recently seen some volleyball players doing)

Anyways, so Frodo and I were like we gotta get out of here. So we went into this underground place. And my mind mixed up the movies a little bit, so it was more like that scene from the Two Towers. You know when Saruman is breeding the uruk-hai?

(Yum)

There was a minor difference though, actually there were a few. So instead of being in individual sacks, the uruk-hai things were hidden in groups behind these big blue gooey sheets. The orc workers would cut a hole in the big sacs and a couple slimey things would fall out. But there's more, the uruk-hai weren't really uruk-hai. They were like a mix between normal people and regular people.

(they kind of resembled zombies, with less blood and more greenness)

I remember there being this weird rule... oh yeah, and now Frodo and I were working in the strange infirmary... if they came out rabid, you had to kill them immediately, by stabbing them in the skull. Gross.
(rabid lamb comics)

But some of the human things came out normal. And at this point my mind kind of forgot about Sauron's war. So now the zombie things just either came out rabid or normal. And the normal ones just kind of hung out. Soon enough the infirmary, was both the birthing site, but also a small club/cafe. The lighting was distinctly blue and purple.

And so Frodo and I took of our helmets and sat down on some comfy chairs. I remember the zombie/uruk-hai/people becoming less and less abnormal. But we were definitely still in a cave. Cause the walls were still rocky. Next thing I know!

(Angela from the office; played by Angela Kinsey)

Yes, Angela from the Office was sitting in my lap. I remember bouncing her up and down while saying "I have a surprise for you". Which for some reason I knew I was lying, but I insisted on saying. And then I awoke to a sunny day in Portland!

15 of My Friends

According to Facebook, 15 of my friends have liked this video. At first I thought it was a scam, since like 6 people posted it and it was on this strange site called "vidyoara". But the video is on youtube so here it is. WARNING, do not wear headphones. The video has loud techno music.

Behind the Scenes of Pixar

Being an animator at Pixar looks so great! Go inside the studio of the most dominant animation company of this decade with New York Times reporter Melena Ryzik. I almost can't believe some of the things they have at their office. But they do try and stress the work aspect...

Cool Things With Propellors

I'm actually super excited about the first. They're flying fish, that are basically balloons of helium. Simply entertaining, and they'll be available for purchase July 2011 (est. $39.00). The second is Sergei Khvalin, who made a backpack/propellor thing out an old lawnmower. Now he doesn't need ski poles.

Why So Curious? Oh the Places You'll Actually Go

Ah childhood undone. Andy Hunt and College Humor mix laughter with sadness, as my childhood slips away.

How depressing...
