Dream Journal: Entry 3

Rather long and twisted...



So I was at this strange elementary school. The walls were turquoise and white. I remember my boss Deirdre (from my time working daycare) being there. She was saying stuff, but I don't really recall what.

We were standing in some sort of art room class room, when this really annoying child came up. All I remember him saying was "Sorry" like a hundred times over and over. Then my boss was like let me show you around. So we started walking down the hallways. 

We walked around a few corners, and suddenly I was with my friend Jackson. But we were no longer in the school, we were in a Fred Meyers.

We walked down this hallway (I gues that's what you call it) until we got to the Home Furnishing & Electronics section. Which in real life are not usually connected. We went straight for the electronics, and I remember pulling out some huge black Skull Candy headphones.

Nearby, Jackson was pulling out DVDs. I remember being like "OH Toy Story"! But it was clearly the DVD case for Cinderella. 

Suddenly, Jackson and I were mice from Cinderella and we were running down large halls. I'm not sure where we were running, but there were other mice too. And we were running through little mouse holes.

Then I remember Theodore (the fat mouse in yellow), went through a hole and didn't come back. So we all ran after him. We found ourselves in a small room with a small hole in the center on the floor. Theodore had fallen into the hole and was stuck. He tried jumping out, but there was no way.

So we all grabbed this red rope, that kind of looked like candy and we thrust it down the hole for Theodore. I remember there was a weird rule, where Theodore would only be saved if a frog held on to the rope as well. Soon I was no longer trying to save Theodore, I was trying to save this frog.

Anyways, I pulled the frog up and then things got weird. This song was playing... but only the chorus.

Suddenly things were turning into food. It was kind of like a Chips Ahoy commercial. A lot of things were candy or sweets. I remember it was pretty claymation like. Weird like dusk feel. It was like I was about to go motor boating.

But then I was suddenly in this small three person band. I was arguing with the bassist over something. I'm not sure what, but the drummer was on my side. Then I saw my friend Will drive by. Not sure what that had to do with anything.

So I stormed off and I went to sleep on a play structure. But I saw my friend Anders sitting in the dark on a tall play structure tower. I thought I saw a girl so I yelled out "Don't do it Anders". But it was actually this girl named Elloise, so I kept walking.

And by the way, it was night time now. So I climbed onto the play structure, and laid down next to this kid named Gabri. He started to tell me about his company "Brave Productions". I remember there being other people too, but we were all listening. Suddenly this girl named Jenna walked up. She asked if we had seen her exchange student's wallet. None of us had. So I turned over and was about to go to sleep on the wooden play structure, when I awoke in real life.
